Bishop’s Move Oxford has taken delivery of purpose built removal vehicle, using a Renault Master as the chassis. The vehicle has a low ride height and will be used to service the smaller sized removal's, as well as help solve access issues for our larger removal vehicles at either the origin or delivery address.
This is the second new vehicle to be added to the Oxford depot's fleet in the past 6 months, with the first being part of the company's £1.2 million investment in 13 custom-built Ryder DAF vehicles across its national branch network. The Oxford-based vehicle was delivered in February 2015.
Operating within a recovering housing market in Oxford and Berkshire, Bishop’s Move saw this as an ideal time to invest in and expand its fleet operations.
Bishop's Move Oxford has had a presence in the county for over 75 years. This fleet expansion also compliments significant changes to the company in this, its 161st year in business; where only last year the fifth generation of Bishop's handed over the reins of the company to their family replacements.
Bishop’s Move Managing Director, Alistair Bingle comments “We pride ourselves at offering a professional and efficient service to our customers, and this investment enhances our commitment to offering a modern, robust, efficient service to our client base.”
