Bishop’s Move Scotland help out the CHSS with transportation
18 Jun 2013

Bishop’s Move Edinburgh were happy to support their chosen charity the Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland by helping out with bike transportation for their Canal Cycle Ride last Sunday, 16th June. Over 140 cyclists took part in this charity cycle ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh and in the process they raised more than £14,000 to support people across Scotland who are living with chest, heart and stroke illness.
Riders of all ages enjoyed bright, sunny skies and a cool breeze as they pedalled their way along the 50-mile course which followed the scenic towpaths of the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals via the Falkirk Wheel.
Participants came from all over Scotland and crossed the generations with several families riding together to make it a Father’s Day to remember. Many were saddle sore but still cheery after their unique day out.
Bishop’s Move Edinburgh also distribute charity collection bags to all of our Scottish customers so that they can donate any no longer needed items to the CHSS. It’s a great way to de-clutter before moving house.
There are some great photos of the event on the CHSS Facebook page or if you would like more information about the charity work of the CHSS – visit their website www.chss.org.uk
