Bishop’s Move teams up with Scope
24 Oct 2011

We all know moving house can be a busy time, but it’s also a great opportunity to declutter!
Bishop’s Move is supporting the charity Scope to provide a fabulous new way to de-clutter when moving house. We will collect any of the following unwanted items and donate them directly to Scope:
Clothes – shoes and boots – bags, handbags and belts – books – CDs and DVDs – mobile phones – small electrical items – jewellery and bric-a-brac.
IT’S EASY TO DE-CLUTTER WITH BISHOP’S MOVE!
- Bishop’s Move will supply you with a number of Scope charity donation sacks before your move so you can place any of the items you don’t want to take with you in them.
- On the day of your move, give the filled sacks to the Bishop’s Move staff. They will place them to one side in the removal van and take back to the depot ready for Scope to collect.
- If you don’t have enough Scope sacks, don’t worry, a supply is kept on the removal van. Just ask the Bishop’s Move removal staff for some extras.
- By donating in this way, you can be sure 100% of your donations goes directly to us. It’s as simple as that!
YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP SUPPORT SCOPE’S WORK
The money raised from the sale of your donations will go towards helping us to create a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people. We work alongside disabled adults and children, and their families, to offer information, advice, support and care that leads to greater freedom of choice and personal control.
NB: Since 2014, Bishop’s Move support the following charities: Cancer Research UK, Chest Heart Stroke Scotland, the Children’s Trust Tadworth and the Martin House Hospice
