"We are writing with heartfelt thanks to Graham and his team who were absolutely brilliant both on moving us out of our home and, after an interim rental, moving us from Somerset to Wales. This was a gap of more than three months and we were amazed at how well they remembered exactly which room each piece of furniture had come out of and how well prepared and equipped they were to move everything into the new property.
Graham is the consummate professional with decades of experience and knowledge. We don’t suppose there is anything left to surprise him when dealing with the logistics of house removals! He and his team were unfailingly polite, helpful and good-humoured. They were so quick off the mark the first day that something got packed that we hadn’t intended to go into storage during the rental period. It had gone off in a crate so we had to resign ourselves to not having it for months. The next day Graham brought the item to us; they had searched through the pallets in storage to retrieve it. That was such a kind and thoughtful thing to do…and exemplifies how considerate and careful they were with our possessions.
Moving house can obviously be a very stressful time, but the whole team were so ‘can do’ and upbeat that it was an adventure rather than a difficult experience. We moved from one old, rambling house to another with all the trip hazards, varying ceiling heights and tricky staircases that can entail. The team made it look easy…but it really wasn’t. They consistently worked to a high standard of getting everything exactly where we wanted, even when we had to move to a Plan B when certain items wouldn’t fit where intended so had to be carried around more than once.
Bishop’s Move is hopefully very proud of such a tremendous team, who act as wonderful ambassadors for the brand. We are not intending to move for a very long time now but would certainly return as clients due to the five star service that Graham, Stevie, Steve, Mike, Jason and all gave us. Graham obviously needs to stay with you for ever; he is a corporate treasure!
