Guides to Moving to Europe
21 Feb 2013
Bishop’s Move have undertaken moves to Europe for over 155 years, with one of the first being to Paris from London in a horse-drawn removals van that could also travel on the railway.
With this in mind, we have put our experience down on paper and created these useful moving guides to the most moved to countries in Europe.
As well as giving you an idea of our removals and storage services to these European countries, the guides also give you some useful facts and information about the country itself. For instance, if you are moving to Belgium you should be prepared for parking restrictions in many of the towns, the electrical supply in Switzerland or that Italy has the 3rd largest gold reserve in the world.
Feel free to take a look and let us know what you think. And if you are moving to any European country soon, don’t forget that you can get a free quotation from us – simply arrange a home survey.
