Bishop's Move would like to wish all of our customers, both past, present (and even future ones) a very happy and prosperous New Year.
2014 will see the 160th anniversary of the Bishop's Move group - so we are all rather excited. Bishop & Son's Depositories Ltd was started in 1854 by JJ Bishop, a farm labourer from Norfolk who originally came to London to join Robert Peel's police force. After a short time as a "bobby", JJ became a greengrocer in Elizabeth Street, London, SW1. It was from these humble beginnings that the business grew into household furniture removals and storage, base in a small yard it what was the village of Pimlico.
Since then Bishop's Move has grown in to the UK's largest family-owned removals, international shipping and storage company in the UK. With the 6th generation of family Bishop currently employed in the company.
The Bishop's Move group is looking forward to 2014 and celebrating our 160th Anniversary with you.
