Queen Mary University London, a prestigious member of the Russell Group, is dedicated to delivering the highest quality research and providing an outstanding teaching and learning experience. The university serves over 33,000 students and employs approximately 5,400 staff members.
Bishop’s Move was awarded the contract in 2022 to manage the relocation of the Institute of Health Sciences and various other supporting departments. The project involved moving 180 staff members and a specimen collection to temporary accommodation, later returning them after the completion of building refurbishment and upgrades. Additionally, the Student Union and two IT suites at the Mile End campus were relocated to refurbished spaces. All vacated spaces were cleared, and furniture from the teaching space was stored at the Thurrock warehouse, then reinstalled upon completion of the refurbishment.
