Moving into a new property can be stressful, especially if there are delays in accessing your new home.

Bishop’s Move offers protection for this through our Late Key Waiver and Cancellation Protection Plan, providing peace of mind and protecting you from extra costs due to delayed access.

We also offer full Removals Insurance to customers who choose to move home with us.

Our Late Key Waiver

Bishop’s Move Late Key Waiver Plan provides peace of mind and protection against a delayed access time into your new property.  This plan provides an extended three-hour waiting period from the completion time for your new property.  If for any reason you cannot get the keys on time you will incur no extra charges until the three-hour waiting period has expired. 

Benefits of the Late Key Waiver Plan:

  • Extended Waiting Period: Enjoy an extended three-hour waiting period from the completion time for your new property.
  • No Extra Charges: If you cannot get the keys on time, incur no extra charges until the three-hour waiting period has expired.
  • Flexible Working Hours: Our crews will work until 7:30 PM or until they have used their hours under the working time directive.

If the Late Key Waiver Plan is declined the standard waiting time of one hour will apply, after which extra charges will occur. Please note that if the removal cannot be completed within that day, a Delayed Access Charge will be applied to complete the removal at a mutually agreed date and time.

Cancellation Protection Plan

Planning a move can be unpredictable, and unexpected changes can arise. Bishop’s Move offers a Cancellation Protection Plan to provide you with peace of mind in case you need to postpone or cancel your removal.

Key Benefits of the Cancellation Protection Plan:

  • Flexible Cancellation Policy: Cover for postponement or cancellation up to 5 PM, two working days before the start of your scheduled move.
  • No Cancellation Charges: Cancel or postpone your move without incurring Cancellation Charges, offering you flexibility and peace of mind.
  • Affordable Coverage: The fee for this plan is 20% of the Removal Cost (+ VAT).
