Bishop's Move Crawley proudly support the local charity of The Children's Trust Tadworth. This fantastic Surrey-based charity provides for children with severe brain injury. The Children's Trust offers expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at their specialist centre in Tadworth, supporting children and families from across the UK.
Our Crawley branch uses Bishop's Move's 'Declutter and Donate' scheme to collect unwanted items that their customers discover when moving house and donate them direct to The Children's Trust. They can then sell these donations from their charity shops and raise money to help support their care programme.

Once you know you are moving house, you should arrange for a free moving survey from Bishop's Move Crawley. A professional moving consultant will then visit you and your home to discuss your move. During this home survey, the consultant will ask if you would like some Children's Trust donation sacks in which to put any items that you no longer need. Then whilst you are having a quiet sort out of your belongings, you can put the items you are happy to donate straight into these bags and leave them to one side.
On the day of your move, your removal team will collect these bags as they safely pack and wrap the rest of your household possessions - they even have some spare donation sacks on board should you need any more. The bags will then be delivered to the branch once they have left you settling in happily to your new home.

The Children's Trust Tadworth is currently celebrating it's 30th anniversary. Established in 1927 at Tadworth Court by Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) from a legacy of £20,000 left by a Mr Peter Reid. The first children were admitted in 1929. Despite threatened closure in 1982, the unprecedented support of the rehabilitation centre has seen it thrive and establish itself as The Children's Trust in March, 1994.
